Although we arrived after lunchtime, our rooms were not ready for some time. One room had two chairs, the other had none. When a chair was requested, Reception said that it was "not normal" to provide chairs at the desk in each room. Internet access cost 10USD per day, but the service was very limited: sometimes it was not possible... More

Stayed four nights for a business trip in mid January. Good standard rooms. Hotel in very good shape. Good quality restaurant, with excellent breakfast. This is a developing country so you can´t expect everything always to be perfect, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very easy to access by car, and only a couple of blocks off the... More

We booked a superior room for three nights from december 22th on. The hotel is priced way over the top (€75,00 per night) excluding breakfast. The price for wifi is $ 10,00 per day. Thats's real stone age. All the cheap guesthouses offer free wifi!! The superior room is the dullest room we ever encountered in a hotel of the... More

stayed here after being redirected en route to luang prabang. 100 USD a night is a lot of laos. Confused reception staff, had booked online about 3 hours ago so had no printed copy. had to print copy off in business centre before they would even give us a room. of course, PC very slow! Room basic, good shower and... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a short vacation trip. The hotel is a few kilometers from bus terminal but taxi fare was quite expensive. The room was ok, roomy but could use some refurbishment. We did our research and request for a room which wasn't face the main road and it was quiet enough. So, make sure... More

The hotel is away from everything - far enough that places like the river bank is too far to walk. The room I had was supposed to be deluxe but it was low standard at best! There was no comfortable chair and no desk space to work. On the other side the rooms had free Internet but where I was... More

Out of the nine hotels in three countries on a 20 day trip this was the worse. It's situated on a very busy main road from the city to the airport. Luckily we only had a very brief stay, overnight leaving at 4am. We had a 3rd floor room facing the road and could not get to sleep till gone... More

I stayed together with a colleague for only 1 night at Mercure Vientiane, but I can confirm, that we really like this hotel. It is just 10 minutes by taxi from the airprot to the hotel, and I guess as close to the center of Vientiane. From Airprot to hotel we payd just 7 USD for taxi. And the good... More
