I booked into this hotel for one night as my regular hotel in Vientiane was booked out for a special visitor. The room looks clean and tidy and is very spacious. They advertise that they have laundry service but you cannot get your trousers pressed or ironed. The wifi is terrible in the rooms, the bathroom is not very satisfactory.... More

I stayed at D rose Hotel one night on my New Year vacation trip. The hotel is located in the centre of Vientiane and near Namphu fountain and Mekong river. The hotel lobby is large. The hotel rooms are large, clean and quiet. But the bathroom is old and the shower area is too narrow for me. (I am Asian)... More

After a few nights at a highly unsatisfying nearby hotel I tried out the D Rose at about two-thirds the price. There is a large and comfortable lobby area with two PC stations available. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings, though mine was rather gloomy as the single window looked out on a tenement no more than five metres away.... More

The good news is that this hotel was relatively cheap, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The bad news was the construction noise both next to the hotel and in the hotel (they’re refurbishing one floor at a time) ran from 7:00am till 7:00pm daily. The shower was cold. The beds were the hardest I’ve ever felt (think cloth... More

As this was my first visit to Laos I chose to make some basic bookings for accommodation on Agoda and for Vientiane I chose the Hotel D'Rose1. Overall this turned out to be a good decision so here are some of the issues that I met up with. Firstly not all the reviews for this hotel were positive but I... More

This is a lovely hotel. Brand new and still getting used to itself, the staff are friendly locals who do a fabulous job to keep you happy. Right in the centre of town with two beautiful pools in adjacent hotels, and surrounded by gorgeous restaurants. Very reasonable, but you may need to gently negotiate. I loved it so much I... More
