This clean comfortable hotel fronts onto the street close to the centre of town. DO NOT confuse it with Khampiane Hotel 2 which is just around the corner (owned by the son who I think is trading on his fathers good name). The son tried to force our tour group into KP2 and our tour guide has to go to... More

We visited this hotel on our way back to Thailand after a couple of weeks in Laos. Usually we stay at much cheaper guesthouses however unfortunately we got to Vientiane at night when there was a festival in the city so this was literally the only room we could find. We got a small twin room without a window which... More

We actually showed up late Christmas eve and we were able to get a room quickly and conveniently. Like most hotels in Vientiane, the doors are lock after 10:30pm, which I'm okay with because in a way it's security. Vientiane is sleepy city, so nightlife is limited, although on New Year's eve they will keep the doors unlock for guest.... More

This hotel is quite pleasantly furbished with friendly owner and staff. A good location close to a few of the sights of Vientiane. Vientiane is quite ramshackle, but still has some charm. Most sights can be seen in a day. More

I stayed two nights and had great experience here. Great value for $35 per night. Location - Very convenient. Easy to go to most of restaurants, massage places, coffee shops, etc. in downtown. Close from stand restaurants Mekong riverside too. Room - Very clean wooden floor. Bed is a little bit hard, which I really liked. Linens are all clean.... More

If you just need a bed to sleep, you can probably stay at the Khampiane Hotel. I had a standard room, not much space. Mattress not comfortable, shower was broken (nobody came to fix), no hot water at the washbowl, internet was not working in room. Breakfast, acceptable but less than average. Nothing really bad or terrible, but no charm... More

The staff here are so friendly and always greet you with big smiles. It 's quite a small hotel and they seem to know all their guests and are reaching for your key as you walk in through the door! The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, a downside is the bathroom is very small. Wireless internet is available in... More

We stayed at the Khampiane Hotel during our tour of South East Asia with Intrepid Tours. The hotel is very nicely situated and one can walk all over town,to the Fountains(lots of restaurants)to the river, the National Museum(boring!)etc.Vientiane is a very relaxed and easy going city and we enjoyed the slowness of the pace of the city. The Khampiane has a nice entrance...
