There are several hotels lucky star hotels at the area. Make sure you check in at Lucky Star 2 which is the newest one. The USD20 rooms are good value. Rooms are big, well lit, clean and have good wifi connection. Make sure you instruct them to give you a room with window. The front desk staff are not that... More

It is my first time traveling solo so the $15/night suits me just fine. With this rate, I know I have to always manage my expectations. This way, I won't be disappointed. I stayed for 3 nights and its very convenient to the Olympic Supermarket, City Mall and Grocery Store. There's a nearby KFC too so for sure you won't... More

Hotel is clean, staff speak good English and did not try and push any trips, tickets onto us. Very helpful when we asked questions about the town. $2 Tuk Tuk ($1 Moto) to riverside (don't pay anymore). Location was okay, but on a busy function street with multiple weddings each night, was quite noisy.

To save a little money on our trip we decided to stay a few days in lucky star. It was clean and good value for money. rooms are ok,but not cosy at all. neighborhood could be a little dubious at night i wouldn' t want to walk there on my own. Not really nice restaurants, at walking distance, try the... More

I paid $15 (US) per night for a large air conditioned room. It was clean, comfortable and the hot water worked. The front desk staff speak adequate English and were very helpful. I was asked if I wanted "boom boom" by the staff several times and declined. I will stay at this hotel when I return to Phnom Penh.

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel, I wonder at times why some people bother to leave the comfort and security of their own loungerooms.I am currently sitting at the desk of room 407, I am paying $12 AUD( keep in mind that this is the middle of the high season) a night for a HUGE room with... The best thing about the Lucky Star hotel is the name. It goes down from there. The physical hotel is not really so bad for $15 per night. But when you arrive at the hotel lobby to check in you will know why it is hard to find the word "service" in an English/Cambodian dictionary! The check in staff often... More

Big and clean room, no breakfast included, night staff does not speak English at all. Far from the downtown, but ok if you only want to visit the Tuon Sleng museum, the killing fields and maybe the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda (too expensive by the way!!)

Hotel was average, big rooms, warm shower, poor wifi connection.with regards location you need to take tuk tuk to see any of the sites or to travel to city centre. There is a mall just a few minutes walk away that was excellent for shopping otherwise we found the location was very poor, very limited in where you could eat... More
