We stayed here as part of a Cambodian tour, two nights first, went to other destinations and then came back for a further night. The second time we got a better room. The hotel is older and does not have air-con in the corridors so going to your room is very hot and sticky. The rooms have air-con so that... More

Stayed here as Gecko tour hotel in Phnom Penh. The hotel room was small and gloomy and a bit claustrophobic as were the corridors on each floor. The AC in the room was very tired and needed many hours to approach temp, it also failed to restart after a power outage, (we had 5 of them in 2 days). The... More

If you want a reasonable 3 star hotel near Central market, Wat Koh and Monivong Boulevard then the Mittapheap is a sensible choice. It is away from the tourist hub of Sisowath Quay but a tuk tuk or moto is always waiting outside the hotel to take you anywhere you want for $2 or $1 respectively. The rooms are reasonable... More

Manage your expectations and I think you won't be disappointed. This hotel nicely fills the gap between true budget hotels and more Western styled upscale properties. A bit pricey compared to other area budget hotels, but it does offer a bit more as well. Notably, a traditional spa next to the lobby, 24-hour reception desk, decent security and nice cafe... More

I would not spend much money to stay here. The desk was helpful about helping us find a room we liked. They helped us get a van to Siem Reap. The breakfast was not much, but neither was the price. The food was good, but not a lot to choose from. Coffee was strong. We were able to stay for... More

We spent 2-3 days here and enjoyed our time. The rooms were reasonable and quite comfortable. We found their staff to be welcoming and always able to help out when necessary. The breakfast was reasonable. The location was great. Close to the river, restaurants and bars. We really liked it here, especially as they provide computers with free internet.

We experienced our first culture shock upon arrival in Phnom Penh, it is such a very busy place and, to say the least, the traffic was hectic, crazy and exciting. The Mittapheap Hotel was great. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were efficient and very friendly. We expected very little ( given that the cost of the rooms was... More

located at a noisy road, can´t sleep the whole night. breakfast buffet very poor and a lot of noisy people out of china. offering bus tickets to siem reap at overpriced level (15$ instead of 5$) better make booking in the agency nearby. room isn´t clean at all, aircon doesn´t work properly
