Having a drink at the end of a hard day in this iconic bar is one of my most cherished memories of my trip through Cam. Knowing what came before me, the journalists comparing notes throughout the troubles of the too numerous Indochinese wars made sitting here in peace a privilege. Great priced drinks, a location on the Mekong River... More

The FCC maintains it's prestige in Phnom Penh at least largely due to its history as a meeting place for westerners in Cambodia. The ideas behind its construction after the fall of the Khmer Rouge is commendable and I can imagine that at the time the goal of providing a place for foreign nationals to relax in post war Cambodia... This is an interesting hotel. There are only 4-5 rooms availalble for rent and each one is a bit different. We stayed at this hotel twice and we liked it. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast that is included is amazing. The location is good as it is next to the water.

As a tourist this is a must do when in Phnom Penh. We were prepared to be disappointed and ripped off but actually this is a great place for drinks and snacks. Riverfront views, airy and cool, nice atmosphere. Just what you need before continuing back into the chaos which is Phnom Penh.

I've been coming to, and staying at the FCC for around 9 years now and I've seen a few changes in that time, but not too many. That's mostly a good thing, too. The rooms are well-thought out and an attractive mix of local influence, SE Asian modern and boutique hotel mainstays. The resulting look and experience hits the nail... More

We stayed at the FCC for three days, it was fantastic. The rooms were very nice unique and contemporary. The hotel has beautiful views along the Mekong , great sunset photo opportunities. The restaurant was open air with great food. The bathroom in the room was incredible, a true retreat. It is located right near the market and town center.... More

There is no question that the FCC has one of the best locations in town and as a result it is often full. However, the rooms are getting very tired indeed. During my last stay I was pretty unimpressed by the dirty bathrooms and the constant mosquitos! The restaurant is good even if a bit formulaic!

We stayed at "Palace View" room, an annex. Nice view from the room, and it was a perfect place to be in Phnom Penh for new year's eve. We enjoyed seeing fire works from the roof terrace. There was a security guard on the street only for the room at night time. Nice breakfast served at FCC bar as well.... More

Stayed here for three night during July 2011. Room was good but waaay over priced. Staff were no where to be seen. I like when you know the staff are there if something goes missing or there's an emergency. Upstairs is the bar area. Drinks are cheap. We checked out and headed up to ankgor for a couple of days...
