I stayed on 7th Feb 2013. The room I booked was $25. Friendly staff and convenience to take tuk-tuk. The tuk-tuk are always stand by in front of the hotel. The restaurant beside the hotel served variety of cuisines like Vietnam, Thai, Khmer and others. You can get your lunch and dinner from that restaurant. The price is reasonable. The... More

I booked into the New York Hotel because, unusually, my normal choice of hotel was fully booked. With the website advertising rates at $38 a room, one would think the New York Hotel is one of the better middle-range hotels in Phnom Penh. At first, the room seemed okay for the $28 I was quoted, the only problem came about... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently and not even one night without power trip every now and then. The air cond is terrible and the only plus point is it is next to the halal Muslim restaurant, D Wau. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone at all. On the second day, my friend who stayed... For the price we paid ($38) per night, all we wanted was a clean room, clean sheets and a hotel that had a Halal restaurant. New York hotel also provides all the basic ammenities like soap toothbrush, bathgel and hot kettle with 2 bottles of complimentary water. Breakfast was basic, they had salads, fruits, congee, omelette, fried noodles and fried... More

So disappointed with thos hotel Im writing this review in the room now to warn other guests. Avoid this hotel at all costs- the attitude problem of the reception desk and general staff is not representative of the generally warm treatment I've received from other hotels in Phnom Penh or Cambodia in general. Old furniture, stains on the bed sheets... More

Typing this review at the hotel now which means there is wifi. However, I had to shift my bed because the ceiling is leaking water. The television is not working also and the control panel for the lights are in poor condition. If you plan to stay here, do bring along air freshener because there is a smell in the... More
