This was our last stop in our 3 week journey in Vietnam. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We arrived after flying from Danang Airport at about 9pm only to be told our booking had been cancelled.Nobody could explain why! After many phone calls and us wondering what was going on they finally informed they had a room available! Why they didn’t just look up a substitute room to begin with is a mystery. The staff were not friendly or helpful. When we stepped out of the lift to go to our room the smell was terrible. Luckily our room smelt ok once the aircon started. The room was clean but very outdated and impractical. The bedside tables were not even next to the beds and couldn’t be moved. There was a window but it wasn’t able to be opened. The bathroom was clean but very worn and having to step into a deep corner bath to shower with only a loose hand held shower was very difficult especially for our 12 yr old twin boys. The noise both inside and outside the hotel was disturbing particularly the man who would repeat in song a sentence over and over again on a microphone that would start at about 10pm.When I finally rang down to reception the staff member said he couldn’t hear it even though o could hear it thru his phone! We didn’t attempt the breakfast as the stench climbing the stairs to get there was too much for us.Only my hubby used the pool and he said it was cool and clean.Just didn’t look like a cosy place to hang out. We looked at moving hotels but as we were only there for 4 nights and paid up front we decided to stick it out.We saw no other westerners staying here. The location was great and right near Ben Thanh markets and across the road from the art museum. Such a shame we ended our amazing holiday at such a horrible hotel. Never again would we stay here.

Approx 45mins by taxi in peak traffic from the Airport. Good location, equidistance to Bui Vien and Pasteur Street. The Hotel is `local' Vietnamese style and a little dated. Check in was smooth and easy. Room was located on the 8th floor and a city view. Clean and tidy upon entry. Bathroom was reasonable, although the shower head a little low. The BF wasn't great or catered more for Asians, so didn't bother with it after the first morning. I didn't use the indoor pool and area, but the water didn't look clean and didn't see it being cleaned during my stay. I did use the Gym, which was basic, but had enough equipment to get by, but no Aircon. Staff helpful with providing information, with Taxis and places to visit. On checkout I paid by CC and no additional charge.

We were very pleased with this hotel, especially for the price. The breakfast buffet was very complete with good quality food. The family room had a full bed and two twin beds with a small table for 4 separating the full and twin beds. There was a well-stocked mini-fridge and hot pot with complimentary tea and coffee, as well as 4 bottles of water daily. It was clean and quiet with minimal street noise. The pool was nice and clean but cold in March. The English of the staff was limited some shifts. We would highly recommended if you want to be within walking distance of everything in District 1 and are wanting a good quality, clean hotel at a reasonable price. Will stay again.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It is central to many of the places you would want to visit. The service was not fantastic and the rooms were average - the rooms were spacious and there and the air con kept us cool but many of the lights did not work. The breakfast was below average. The coffee was lukewarm.

When visiting Saigon to sight see it is important to be in District 1, as this is near all the action. However there are no 5 or even 4 star hotels in District 1, and it is important to keep this in mind when looking for a hotel. If you are mainly concerned with a luxurious stay you will need to stay in District 7 and take a taxi to District 1 for the sights. But if you stay in District 1 I would highly recommend this hotel, the facilities are clean and in working order, the staff are friendly and helpful and speak English well. Overall good Bang your your buck! And is in a fantastic Location, opposite the fine art museum just up the road for the market and walking distance to the war museum!

The rooms were Ok without being too spectacular. The hotel was relatively clean, beds were comfy and the air conditioning was a massive help in the December heat/humidity. The bathroom could have done with a better clean, but hey, it wasn't too shabby. There were 2 bottles of complementary water after each room service. Buffet Breakfast was very good; there was a variety of dishes and lots of fresh fruit. There was a mix of Western (cereals, omelettes, bacon, bread) and Vietmamese food (fresh made pho!) available. Coffee was amazing. There was a gym but hardly used. Swimming pool (located on first floor) was small but clean and refreshing after a day out in the Ho Chi Minh city. However, you need to take your own towels as there were no pool towels. The hotel is located a short distance from the Ben Thanh markets. Excellent for tourists to go shopping. After 6:30, the night markets is also a joy to browse. We didn't interact with the staff of the hotel much as we had a tour guide; but a few smiles and friendly greetings would have been good. Hotel was booked by our tour operator; its not as bad as some of the reviews make it to be.

Poor service. Unfriendly staff. Breakfast food and coffee was cold. Crockery in the room wasn’t cleaned and when she came it was washed in the bathroom sink and not dried. There were no towels available for the pool you had to use your bathroom towel. Generally poor service and not friendly

The rooms were satisfactory, we had a family room and there was plenty of room, breakfast was very good but front desk service very poor and unhelpful. Hotel is in a good position, especially for Ben Than markets which is 200m away. All areas of the hotel were kept clean. Nice pool.

The location is good for shopping lovers. The hotel is located few minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market. After 6:30 PM, there is Night market outside around. Breakfast and rooms are acceptable and indoor swimming pool is at the first floor.
