In District 10, away from the centre of HCMC (District 1), but taxis plentiful and fare not more than USD 1-2. Surrounding streets not tourist oriented, but not unfriendly either (many local restaurants nearby). No safe in the standard room I booked, and the kettle was a bit grimy, probably because it had not been used much. Otherwise no complaints... More
