Just enjoyed four nights at the new King Star hotel at 18 Cao Ba Quat Street Saigon, sister to the older one Thai Van Lung Street. I found it to be excellent. The staff were great. Breakfast was limited but good. Rooms were spotless of course only a few months old and I got a special deal $35us per night... More

The prices are indicated in USD and if you want to pay in Vietnamese Dongs, they will create their own very special exchange rate, of course, higher than the official exchange rate ! Another surprise, you will have to pay an extra fee, if you want to pay by credit card which is not mentionned at all, when you reserve.... More

The cleaners made the bed but never threw the rubbish in the rubbish bins in bedroom and toilet!. They even left other customers' rubbish, i.e. empty or half drank bottles in my room!! It was agreed between the hotel and my office that the hotel will provide 2 bottles of mineral water daily for my usage. But I was charged... More
