This is a lovely hotel up in the Westlake district of Hanoi. The room we had was a deluxe with a city view. The bonus is that there was also a pretty nice view of the lake which is the largest in Hanoi. The deluxe room cost $64.00au. and as far as the room went it was well worth it.... More

Wild Lotus is a small hotel in the expat area of Tay Ho. We had a huge room with views of the lake. Breakfast was included in the room charge. The staff at Wild Lotus are amazing. They organised a SIM card for me, nothing was too much trouble.

Friendly and nicely appointed little hotel. We picked this as a good value for money option as we had a 10 hour overnight layover in Hanoi. Amazingly there don't appear to be any airport hotels yet. It's 35 minutes from the airport and you can ask the hotel to send a cab there and back - cost $30 return which... More

Our room (501) faced the lake. It was huge, with very nice lighting and amenities. The view over the lake was great. The hotel sits on a fairly busy street, but the traffic dies down pretty early and the windows are well insulated against the noise. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was quite nice as well.... More

Very nice building with clean rooms for what you are paying. Very nice staff service. Very good value for money and easy walking distance from most place on West Lake. Might want to pay more and upgrade for views or a bigger room as mine was a bit small. TV and zircon were good.

If you are looking for a mid range hotel in Hanoi I recommend you consider the Wild Lotus. Most people stay down town when visiting. Tay Ho is the expat district of Hanoi, nicely situated right on the lake, quieter than the Old Quarter but only a 10 minute cab ride away ($5USD). Tay Ho is well serviced with many... More

I stayed here for three nights. Location is great and very near to cafes restaurants and across the street from the lake. I had one of their big rooms on the 6th floor. The room is huge and well done. The bathroom is nice with large shower. There are huge windows looking down at the lake and a small balcony.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the rooms were very clean and modern. Hotel is located in an upmarket area of Hanoi, away from the old quarter. There are mostly international restaurants in the area. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating but due to language barrier, their ability to assist with the general tourist needs was somewhat limited. This... More

Good rooms and helpful staff Room was large with agood level of comfort and a balcony. Staff are super helpful and food was excellent. As it is very central there was a noise factor but manageable. No Air Con but fan with cooling control did the job. Price is good and our survey for the hotel was at the top... More

A modern, elegant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views of West Lake in the front. Rainspout showers with wooden slatted floors. Very nice. Flat screen television with cable and free wifi. Close to many fine restaurants. This affluent residential area of Hanoi has more ex-pats and is less touristy. Cabs easily available -- a 10 minute ride... More
