This hotel is located beside the old city gate, which is more than 200 years old. And only 10 minutes to go to Long Bien Bridge, about 20 minutes to go to Hoan Kiem Lake. Many food stalls are in walking distance. The staffs are very friendly. But the bed is not comfortable, not flat. I stay here for 5... More

The room that we had was very stylish. We were travelling for 5 months when we were there in April and it was the best we have had for that price so far. The staff was very attentive and friendly and supported us a lot for our further journey. Especially the management team acts very professional, and will not be... More

We stayed here in October 2012 and for a cheap hotel in the heart of Hanoi, it was pretty standard. The room we stayed in was a bit shabby and not like the professional photos (!) but it was fine for a place to sleep and have a shower, and the reception staff were so sweet and helpful and went... We stayed one night at Senses then travelled to Ha Long and returned for a further 5 nights. For both stays we had booked a city view suite on Agoda as I really wanted a balcony, in room safe and coffee making facilities. The first stay we were given a key to a room with none of these things. When... More

We stayed at Senses for 3 nights. I think it was great value for money. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. If your "lucky" enough to get a room facing the road you will have to deal with all the beeping, roosters and public announcements. The flashing neon lights from the sign out the front will certainly brighten... More

Looking at some of the reviews I wonder if we were unlucky with our room. It wasn't that clean and was very noisy through the night as the double glazing did not meet in the middle... Hot water was not enough for 2 showers so we had to be blooming quick! There was no safe in the room, although when... More

right in the heart of Hanoi if you really want to experience the local culture of the place, street markets and chickens right outside!...Basic hotel but great for how cheap it is!...we had a lovely room with a flat screen TV and a small balcony. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

We stayed in Senses hotel over the Christmas period of 2012. The hotel staff were very friendly and always smiling and making you feel welcome. The buffet breakfast served on the top floor was very tasty, and saved us a lot of money as we would fill up in the morning and it would see us through to the afternoon.... More
