Extremely nosy hotel as windows are poor and a main road is right afront of the hotel. In addition, across the street is a café where you hear people in the night too. Beds are very hard. Bathroom is not a proper shower. Looks rather like a hotel where you go after picking up a girl.

Nice Viet-style hotel in a good location. It's right across the street from the lake and the sheraton. Considering it's about $100 less than the sheraton, I'd say the value is really good. The Dragon was $40 for a basic room. Whilst the decor is nice, lots of wood carving and an indoor fish pond, the room was small and smelt of old tobacco. Elected to try this hotel on my first visit to Hanoi although uncertain how good it would be. Alternative was Sheraton where meeting was being held.
