Hanoi Deluxe is a charming hotel in the heart of the old quarter. Miss Moon and staff were great - always helpful, with a camaraderie that added to the pleasure of staying here. The hotel's location is a real plus - with Hoan Kiem lake, the Huc Bridge, water puppet theatre, and nightspots of the old quarter all within easy...

It's hard to know how to rate hotels in this price range but you get a very good deal here: we had a large clean room with a functional bathroom in a central location which is all I was expecting for the price. Anyone on a budget would do well to stay here.
However, if you want something genuinely 'deluxe'...

I only stayed 2 nights here. Good location, very friendly and accommodating staff but the rooms are old and run down. We had some leaks in our room from the ceiling. The price for 2 nights was very reasonable so I don't want to sound picky but I personally would rather pay a little extra for some added comforts /...

This hotel is conveniently located in the old quarter. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Room had a funny smell probably from outside. They don't have a elevator so it can be a haul if your room is on 5th floor. I think you can find a place with similar quality with less cost in the same area....

I was in Hanoi a total of 3 weeks - my first week was spent in another hotel a few blocks away, closer to Hoan Kiem Lake. Knowing that I needed to return to Hanoi for 2 weeks for work, and wanting a cleaner, more affordable option then my current hotel, the Hanoi Deluxe Hotel was recommended to me. I...

But our tour guide was very very helpful and in the end we had the whole boat to ourselves! City tour was not bad but not great either...the (another one) tour guide was really friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Small rooms and cafe but very clean and neat. Staff was very polite and helpful. Average walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake where the activity. Would have rated it a Very Good if it wasn't for the bad experience on Ha Long Bay tour package that we took with them. Tour price was quoted USD120/pax...
