We had an excellent stay at Hanoi Elegance Ruby. The staff ensured we had a memorable 25th wedding anniversary!

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights, and ended up returning for 2 more days in betw side trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. The service was so attentive and wonderful that the hotel quickly became our home away from home. I would highly recommend b/c you will adore the staff who will make sure that your stay is... More

I recently visited Hanoi with my mom on our annual mother-daughter vacation. I picked Hanoi Elegance Ruby based on the positive reviews from Tripadvisor. As expected, it was a great choice. For those who have not visited Hanoi before, warning that the heat, noise and traffic can be overwhelming at first. Given the Hanoi Elegance Ruby (HER) is so centrally... More

It's one more amazing review for this hotel, but I think it is worthwhile adding to the mass of positive reviews for this place. Hanoi is a busy, frantic, hot and exciting place, so my husband and I decided to stay somewhere a bit nicer than our norm. We paid $49 for a double room which was lovely. The place... More

We spent one night in a double room and a further two nights in a suite. Double room was small but adequate, rooms all have televisions and a laptop with free internet which proved very useful. The suite was a very large room with two double beds, desk and sofa. Rooms are clean and well maintained, showers are powerful. Breakfast... More

The Ruby is a wonderful place for anyone to stay. $45 for a clean, comfortable room with delicious breakfast and a great location, or (we got 1 night upgraded for free) $90 for a HUGE suite (even for American standards). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the Ruby and other hotels are all very well located in old... More

My husband and I spent four nights here over the course of a two-week trip, in three separate stays. The staff there was--without exception--extraordinary. They helped us with everything--four separate airport transfers, booking a cruise in Halong Bay, and our tourist visas. There was a storm while we in Halong Bay, which meant we could not spend a second night... More

Incredibly cheap and surprisingly good, it can't get any better than this for $45: Nice room with a laptop for your use. Free wifi. Nice breakfast. Incredibly nice staff. Map with highlights and recommendations. Great location in the old quarter but in a quiet alley to avoid all the noise. Free use of showering facilities after check out (just in... More

So I actually thought this hotel would disappoint me after all the great reviews I read here, but we really enjoyed our time here. Service was fantastic, always helpful and welcoming. We booked our private Halong Bay tour through the hotel (and had a fantastic time there), and while we possibly could have done it cheaper elsewhere, it was worth... More

We arrived back from Halong bay and had an other day and night to spare in Hanoi. As we had overspend our budget far by then we wanted something at the other side of the range. The Hanoi Elegance could still offer the family room to us. This hotel has no restaurant only for breakfast, the staff is really as... More
