it was so cute, amazing view and the beach was just wonderful. The little huts were very cosy and beautiful. The food was amazing and fresh. I loved this hotel and enjoyed my stay very much. I highly recommend.

Don't come here expecting 5* perfection but what you will get is peace calm and relaxation with a beautiful view and beach and the kindest staff to look after you. Ok there isn't a massive choice for breakfast but more than enough fresh foods eggs fruit for your needs so I am cross that people complain. There are no bars to go to at night -locally a restaurant walking distance away selling good Thai cuisine and the hotel itself. We are staying in a beachfront villa with pool well worth the extra cost -spacious nicely furnished with a lovely hot tub in open air bathroom - there is a yoga class two days a week which just enhances the feeling of wellbeing pasha is such a good teacher. You are paying for a unique holiday experience - not for everyone- but perfect for me!!!!!

Located in the quiet Koh Yai Yai, the resort is perfect for a relaxing weekend at the beach, just 1h away from Phuket. With a restaurant on the beach, amazing rooms and very good service, it was a very positive experience,

it was a perfect place for our honeymoon The hotel is very nice and romantic the room location was awesome as it view the hotel landscape with great sea-view the room also provide us with enough privacy The open air shower is very nice experiment specially with the sound of the different kinds of birds singing Also the open air bathtub is great however we did use it only once People are very friendly and reflect the real Thailand culture. The people of the island are very friendly and keep greetings us all way we liked the nature of the island and spending time going around we also liked the mangrove forest tour with a small boat going around the island hotel arranged us a ride in phuket to go shopping before we leave thiland the weather was nice as it's started to rain and not very sunny. It's hot in the same time. Such tropical weather was very new for us. Regarding the negative points: Nothing to do at night the hotel is isolated due to its location. it's located on an island which require to ride a shuttle boat to go to Phuket which contains most of the activities and going out. shuttle boat is not flexible enough to spend a whole day in phuket as you've to return back before sunset. the port from which you're going to ride is around 20 min far from the hotel and if you take the very early shuttle you're going to miss the breakfast If you don't like far-east food nature you're going to suffer a lot :) we've to walk far from the hotel to have different kind of food You've to arrange your program in phuket ahead with any tourism company instead of going on your own as it will be a way cheaper…

The superior bungalow is simple and sweet-all necessary¬hing excessive. But having lots of free bungalows with perfect sea view(it IS low season)-why l was given a one without-l don't know. The cuisine is really "mediocre"-as somebody has written earlier-it is eadible, quality but hardly something to recall with watering mouth. The chief himself is quite nice and friendly-but the "compliments" from chief-..a teaspoonful of something-is it a joke? Confusing..There is no bakery for breakfast-only bread and jams-good news for those who doesn't want to get a couple of new kilos on vacations)) Waiting for a bill takes trice longer than meal itself-every time waitress seems to have no idea-what it could be you are waiting for? Insignificant-but really annoying sometimes. Every morning I moved the same sunbeds in the place and position l need-not so easy as the place is fine though the ground is covered with sharp stones-and every evening the staff moved it to some default(??) position. One morning they've made me move it even twice-as they needed to sweep l suppose-though the sharp stones lied undisturbed. In other hotels the staff usually HELPS to move sunbeds-I'm a lady after all-not a muscular youngster)..Not significant?-but paying such sum for a night you rather expect a little more guest-considering if not guest-friendly attitude. The sea is perfect in high tide though even in mid-water there are lots of really sharp rocks-dead coral reef l suppose. But in low tide heaps of plastic garbage become exposed. There is a great army of staff sweeping the ground (half-sweeping- half-sleeping l would say))and making-up rooms-ll very well-but one day a week half of these people would remove all this garbage from the beach in an hour!-and as l understand-they do-but strictly the hotel beach borders-while the last part if beach is a liittle one owned by nobody and being spoiled by locals-why not to clean it also? lt would show respect not only to guests but (more important!)- to the marvellous island positioned as maybe the last place in Thailand remaining unspoiled!-but alas. Sad to see how local people threw the plastic trash near their own houses and under luxurious trees and flowers-and even the hotel staff demonstrate indifference to the nature.. As always-great thank to silent and humble gardeners who keep this paradise day by day having no acknoledgement.. Room keeping-ok...There is a severe price-list for every potentially damaged piece of furniture, for example, face towel-500 THB(?!)-but no face towel was discovered in the room ever))-only large bath towels and small hand ones-l could not manage any of them to wipe wet hair..Open-air douche is a funny thing-haven't a chance ti try it when it rains!))-it should be impressive The hotel is surrounded by village. Local people are friendly and smiling all the way, saying "Hello!"-but to be honest it is a little frustrating to be glared at steadily all the walk, feeling like a monkey in the Zoo Summary. Place-beautiful though desolate, territory- perfect, superior bungalow-nice,bungalow position-good but could be better,food-mediocre,outside hotel shops/facilities-about zero,service-well,satisfactory), money-definitely overpriced. I am satisfied with the hotel while l would like to love it).…

We really enjoyed our 5 days at Elixir resort. Beautiful location, nice beach and plenty of things to do despite the location on the remote local island, which is just 30 min from Phuket town. We liked the cooking course and the art class and loved having dinner right next to the beach with the sunset of Phuket.

This is the most amazingly relaxing place that we have ever been to ( and trust me we have been to many places!) Morning yoga is fantastic, a great way to start the day, followed by breakfast overlooking the sea. The rest of the day is a mixture of swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and the occasional walk into the local viilage - this is true Thailand. The evening meals are divine. Every combination of Thai and European food imaginable. We will return year after year. Too many places in Thailand have become too busy, this hasn't. It is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and unwind.
