There is a massage/nail salon right along the short driveway into the hotel, as well as a cafe and ATM opposite the salon. I've stayed here on three separate occasions now. It's my go-to location while I am in Chiang Rai. Good value for the money. Rooms and bedding are clean. Spartan, but clean. TV. Refrigerator. "Safe" box in room. A/C. WiFi in room. All in all a good value.

M. D. House is in a perfect location in the old city. Right next to the east entrance to the city where the Sunday market takes place. It allows easy access all over Chiang Mai. The MD House is good enough for a stay, two pools, pcs and printer, fridge in the room. The value is average, as there are plenty of nicer places for the same or cheaper. The walls are weirdly dirty, shower spray and pressure pretty much worthless, and wifi is useless on the 2nd floor. Not that bad but cant recommend... More
