The reviews that call this an aging hotel are very accurate, and we were in the newer wing. It is spacious and has been quite elaborate at one time. Woodwork is now dusty, carpets worn, room wasn't dusted well. The shower had SO much mildew in the grout. I can understand if they can't afford to renovate, but labor is... More

Great value for the price and connected to a great mall. Excellent staff and service. Have been there twice and will probably return. I love the wood paneling in the lobby and rooms. Rooms are spacious and the pool is wonderful. More

This place is attached to the more luxurious and package tourist oriented Orchid. Price wise and it was very reasonable at 900 Baht, and certainly worth staying. It is a little on the aged side, but at this price, is worth it. Rooms (at least mine) was huge and very spacious. It is situated adjacent to a shopping mall, with... More

Just had my 3rd stay in this unique hotel in 2012 - this time in April during the SongKran festival. After 10 years of visits staying in over a dozen different Chiang Mai hotels I only discovered this hotel relatively recently. I now consider it to be the best value for money hotel in Chiang Mai. Staff are excellent and... More

We fist visited the PSK in 2002 and had a great time there. Time stands still for no man but it has for the PSK; it's languishing back in the last century. Sorry to say that it is looking very worn and in need of an update. The staff are still superb (as you would expect in this part of... More

This huge hotel is perfectly adequate if you want a clean room out of the town. It is geared more for corporate groups and functions than the average holidaymaker. Having said that, the room was large, also the bathroom, and was clean although the furnishings have seen better days. For the size of the place, 3 lifts were not really sufficient... More

Stayed here for five Nights whilst in CM. Rooms were a good size (I stayed in a deluxe Lanna suite in the new wing) and were clean. Shower could have done with a good scrub and regrout though. Breakfast was included. A decent variety of foods. Reception are not very proficient in English at all. They also ripped us off... More

The staff were very efficient and helpful and the breakfast was plentyful with good food. The seimming pool area is clean and the pool itself is huge and well maintained.... More

This is an enormous hotel, part of a big shopping centre. It has 2 wings and here is a gigantic lobby area in the new wing where you check in. We were then taken to the old wing and had to check in again. The room was very spacious with a nice sitting area, a lovely bathroom and good view... More

We booked a superior room (for $55 in December 2011) and when we arrived we were lead to the side wing which was weird. The hall to the room was very dark because only one in three light bulls were operating. When I asked why they said it was switched off during the day. Very weird, considering that there weren't...
