Large, clean modern room. Nice bathroom and shower, friendly staff. To be honest there is nothing really to complain about. When compared to the usual you get in other parts of thailand for 1000 baht this place is great value. There are some comments about the location, for me it was fine although I can understand why a single female... More

I stayed here with friends for songkran weekend. The rooms were very new with good size bathrooms as well. Double queen bed was very comfortable. Nice common area for drinking or eating on first floor. Location was quite good but not that close to the main areas of restaurant and night clubs. A 15 min walk, so not to far... More

I stayed here in May 2012. The staff are fantastic and the hotel rooms are very nice. They could do with a few extra small things (eg. in room safe, face towel, hand towel and hand soap (they provide large towels, soap, and towel rack in the shower, but is inconvenient to have to keep walking into a wet shower... Staying in the 2-story Duplex suite. Way too big for little old me but outstanding as hotel rooms go. Two beds on separate floors, a full and a half bath, and the suite has a modern loft aesthetic. But twice today there were prolonged periods of hammering as they installed a satellite. Plus earlier a dog barked for one hour.... More

A new GH in the quiet part of old city, close to Chiang Mai Gate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious(I stayed in different rooms), the design is quite modern and simple. Using their free bikes is a great way to explore the city. Breakfast at the nice cafe next door. However I do have some problems... More

Located down a very quiet soi, Gord Chiang Mai is a new hotel located close to the Saturday Walking Street. The taxi driver had a bit of trouble locating it - so I recommend taking directions with you. I had read reviews where people were picked up from airport but this was not offered to me (would have been great).... More

I've visited Chaingmai a few times but the last time I was travelling alone.Gord Chiangmai made it much easier for me to go around the old city with its quality free bike. I could visit 10 temples in one day! as well as the bright flower market near the river in the morning, Warorot Market, Lao Jo Lane, Hmong Lane... More
