This guest hotel is tucked away in a street corner, right behind a regional headquarters of Thai Airways. What hit me first was the warm decor of the whole place. Mostly covered in brown and green, very earthly colours, it gives guest the feeling of a mexican/ethnic place. Sam, the owner of this beautiful place, is extremely welcoming, and knowledgeable,... Located in the old city near the 3 Kings Monument. Rooms are large and we had a small balcony which was nice. Only a 5 minute walk to the Sunday Walking Street Market. Breakfast is included - either eggs, ham and sausage or yogurt, muesli and fruit. Owners are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms and location is very quiet. Fairly... More

Staff go above and beyond to help with selecting activities and knowing where to buy things. This made up for the lackluster shower and the annoying am noise that comes for the nearby school. Breakfast was good, either meat/eggs/toast or yogurt/fruit/oats More

We stayed here for a few days in March. This is a family run hotel with Mou and her uncle on the front desk. They are really smashing people and very helpful. It's only been open a couple of years and there's a couple of issues that Mou is aware of they need to be sorted out. The main one... More

This is a pleasant place and nicely decorated. But in our opinion, a bit overrated by other guests. It is located in the old town, which is quite a bit nicer than some of the outlying areas with pretty sois (alleys) and wats. It is about a 15 minute walk to the night market (and 30 minutes to river area).... More

The owner and his staff are excellent! They speak better English than me and when it comes to needing help to find a wat, restaurant, wine, whatever, they are there to help! Rooms are of good size, bathrooms with hot water for showers, and bed is not to hard not to soft. But if you have a problem, just talk... More

We really enjoyed our stay here in Jan / Feb 2012. We stayed for two nights, then went on a trip around Mae Hon Song, and were back for an additional eight nights. We prefer to stay in the old city and like wandering around soaking up the local atomsphere. The staff were friendly, knowledge, and speak good English. Sam... More

This is much better than a guesthouse, and more comfortable than your average 'plastic' hotel. The staff are knowledgable and welcoming, the rooms are much bigger than the average hotel room - and cheaper than most. The coffee shop is set in a nice little garden area and serves a nice breakfast, as well as being open most of the... More

I have stayed here once in 2010. My whole family was there this time. The service was wonderful and everyone there welcomed my family and my grandkids with open arms. The breakfast was wonderful it is more than continental breakfast (eggs and 2 meats) PLUS 2 kind of fruits daily. It has some perks that some hotel might not have,... More

The staff is outstanding! Very friendly and helpful. Their English is excellent. The location is pretty good, being very close to many shops. The beds and pillows were great! The free breakfast was pretty good offering either sausage and eggs or yogurt and fruit with granola. Free bottled water for your room which was basically unlimited. The cons: only offered... More
