There are so many guesthouses in Chiang Mai that it can become very tedious searching round, after looking at several GH we decided on here. We found it right at the beginning of the small village and we were lucky enough to find the last free room. The room in itself was nothing special but we appreciated much the kindness and the help of the owner who put the two beds together in order to make a big bed out for us. Unfortunately his kitchen... this isn't the fanciest place but it is quite charming with little private guest houses. Some people in our group noticed an odor and asked to be moved to another cottage. It is right in town. Check out the morning market for local activity. The shops nearby have some unique gift items. The cafe at the hotel is quite good... More
