I always stay at The Castle when I travel to Chiangmai. The hotel is located on a quite street not far from the airport with walking distance to weekend walking street market. The room is simply nice at valuable price. The staff is helpful and attentive with kind hospitality. There is a small pool inside the hotel ground next to... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this nice cosy hotel at the end or April and we thought it was an excellent place for a few days in Chiang Mai. Just less than 10 minutes walk to the centre, which we thought was very convenient as we wanted to stay in a quite place. Pearl, the manager, was a great... More

The selling point for this hotel is the location. Just off the moat outside the old town. The rooms are quite small and the pool is more like a plunge pool than anything else but good to stick your feet in after a long hot day. There is a fridge where you help yourself to beer or soft drinks and... More

We stayed at the Castle in April for 8 days and had a wonderful experience. This is our third stay at this hotel in as many years and we cant say enough good things about it. The Castle is a unique and freindly boutique hotel that is within easy walking distance of both the old walled City (10 mins) and... More

I cannot thank Pearl and her staff enough for the wonderful hospitality she showed me and my friends when we stayed at The Castle in December 2012. I just love The Castle hotel... it's small, unpretentious, clean, friendly and great value for money. In fact, every positive adjective used in previous reviews is accurate. My room was beautifully clean and... More

Friendly helpful staff, that couldn't do enough for you. Great sized room, clean and comfy with all you need! Cute pool for a cool down. Great location not in the hustle and bustle but located within a stones throw! great value for money. We were really happy and a short ride from the airport which is cheap in a taxi!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Castle. They kindly gave us an early morning check-in after our night train from Bangkok. Pearl and team provided us with great service, helping to schedule massages, arrange for cars, and even booking us into a cooking class with our requested instructor. Convenient walk to the center. Nice, clean room. Decent breakfasts with good... More

I am staying at The Castle for about a week now. The place is small but perfect for the price. It has everything I need, WiFi, yummy breakfast, clean room with comfortable beding. Would defintely stay here again for my next visit to Chiangmai.
