The great thing about chains is that you always know what you are getting, no matter what far flung destination you find yourself in you can always rely upon a chain to provide good friendly service, a clean, fully functional room, and above all, not to rip you off. This was our logic behind staying at Le Meridien in Chiang... More

Stayed two nights early May for a meeting I attended in the hotel. The hotel room was spacious, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was of good quality despite it was crowded for tour groups and a major conference going on in the hotel. The gym was well equipped, well lit and well attended. Nice location, right next to the famous... More

Stayed there for 2 nights 22 to 24 May to attend a medical meeting.Check-in was prompt as the event management team was around to assist.Staffs were courteous, typical of Thai culture. It had the usual trappings of a 5-star hotel. However,it was very strict when it comes toots room properties e.g. the bedroom slippers cannot be taken away ; it has... More

The check in was efficient and the rooms were very comfortable. The room had a beautiful view of mountains at the distance. The aircon was very cold and should have a better control. The bath was clean. Though there could have been better amenities. The restaurants had good food esp the breakfast spread was very good. The stay was value... More

Upon arriving to Chiang Mai, we were met at the airport by Pakapol from the concierge desk. The transfer was quick and convenient. Check in went quick as well. The hotel was modern and clean. The hotel is located amoungst the night bazaar and we learned that this was the best shopping to be had while we were in Thailand.... More

No amenities are neglected in this top notch North American chain hotel. Located adjacent to the night market makes it very convenient and safe to take part in the night life without having to cab it at night. Platinum members are afforded a delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings, as well as an afternoon tea between 3-5pm, cocktails and snack... More

From the outside the hotel seems average. Everything changes when You get inside, it has a beautiful hall, nice clean rooms (altough mine wasnt too big), and beautiful views to the city. It has a wonderful situation! Near the night market just in the center if Chiang Mai! Beeing in the room while hearing all the night noise is impossible.... More

Stayed at Le Meridien this time round again. Comfort and convenient at a price. Booked via agoda.com (better double check the details if your reservation before clicking Pay. As they are not helpful if you made a mistake and want to rectify the reservation. Even if you send an email immediately after receiving their confirmation). No wifi in the room,... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel when I attended a conference recently. The rooms were excellent - clean and comfortable and the shower was just fantastic. Ate the buffet lunch and breakfast and all was good, lots of choice. The night market is just outside for those wanting to barter all night. Very nice stay and very good staff. Excellent time....
