Clean, very well maintained hotel. No fixtures or fittings changed since it opened in 1965 which makes it an extremely charming place to stay. Pool is clean and not overly chlorinated with a few good spots to lounge. Huuuuge rooms with Air con, big fridge, tv, wifi for 100 baht for 24 hours (great connection). For the price, an awesome place... More

Spent a night here in April 2012 and I'd like to start by saying my expectations were not very high considering I paid about 25 bucks for the night. Location - excellent! This hotel is on Sukhimvit Soi 13 which is in the heart of the tourist/expat area. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Soi 7 and Soi... More

If your stay in Bangkok revolves around nightlife then this hotel could not be better located. If you just need somewhere to lay your head after a big night out so you can regroup for the next big night out then this place is perfect. Clean, spacious rooms. Relaxed and friendly staff. Youd be hard pressed finding anything better than... More

Even if they don't try to be retro and funky, they sure are!! Very pleasent and friendly staff (exept maybe the old chinese woman of the restaurant), great location, nice pool and decent rooms. All this and you get a free trip to the seventies, late sixties. For some reason they never changed a thing. Between all the big imposing... More

A pretty good place to stay, Near nana metro station! Commuting to different places are easy. Lots of attractions near by. A good "hot-Spot" for all things. Good Indian Restaurants near-by! Book this hotel a month in advance to get a good deal. More

We didn't stay in Bangkok long because there were other places in thailand which were by far nicer. Wish we had splashed out a bit more to get a better hotel than this one. The blankets were brown and the room had a really old fashioned vibe to it. Had a pool but didn't see anyone in it, but it... More

900 baht a night walk in represents very good value for the area however the rooms look like they havent been touched for about 30 years. Rooms are big, bathrooms have baths but all very dated. If you are a budget traveller, the Miami represents a good deal, if you're not, stay somewhere else. More

Rooms were huge, big bed, tv, big washroom, AC unit which kept the room very cool, refrigerator and some chairs. Very high ceiling in the room aswell. Great swimming pool,... More

I read the other reviews that say this is a dump and can't help but wonder why these people didn't book the Mandarin Oriental and pay the corresponding room rates. The fact is, I just got back from my first stay at the Miami and found it to be a slightly run-down (part of its charm) yet clean hotel. Maybe... More

Discourteous, incompetent staff overseen by a tyrannical management team utterly devoid of social skills; makes Fawlty Towers seem positively idyllic. As for the rooms - decaying, malodorous relics of Vietnam-era R'n'R flops. The clientele consists of dissolute troglodytes, assorted bums and bewildered tourists wondering on earth they were dumb enough to actually pay hard cash for enduring such a tip. More
