We stayed 3 days at Siam II in March 2012. This is a perfect guesthouse . Clean rooms ,very friendly staff and nice food in the simple restaurant. Close to Khao San road and even closer to Chao Praya. We warmly recomend Siam II. Nice prices too. We will be back in January. More

Bangkok can be surprisingly expensive even down in the Khao San road area. The New Siam hotels are good value, nice and clean, everything you need. New Siam II has a small pool and wifi but is a bit more expensive than New Siam I but I'd say its better for families or people who want to be near Khao... More

There are some things I like of New Siam, they are its proximity to Kao Sarn Road with its restaurants etc. (5 minutes walk), its proximity to the river, with the express boats (1 minute away), the front area, with the pool, internet, travel agency, decent staff and the experienced service you get. Clean, safe & value for money if you want to stay in this area. Quiet rooms - ESP at the end of the corridor (I asked for that room).
