Terrible, I never saw a poor breakfast. Have steamed rice, other rice, 2 fried vegetables, fried egg, sausage, bread and strawberry jam, pineapple jam and rice porridge. Tea, coffee, water, orange but not juice, without milk In two days, we have the same breakfast. The equipment was old in the room. Scam. They set broken kettle in a room of... More

The website shows a large swimming pool & breathtaking images of the hotel. But you'll realize the reality as soon as you enter the hotel premises. Entrance is under the concrete pillars of the Highway, Dark & no hotel atmosphere at all. The electric door of the hotel entrance is closed half of the time. Guests must walk through the... More

This hotel would have been nice..... in the 80s. Its as if it thinks its a 5 star resort, when it clearly isnt. It is in bad need of a make over and the kitchen needs Gordon Ramsey to sort it out. As soon as we arrived at this hotel, we felt as if the staff looked down on us.... More

Nothing to write home about. Certainly what was expected for around $45/night in a big city. It's a big hotel with lots of huge tour groups and a "mass produced" feeling. Not particularly clean--dirty carpets and passable bathrooms. Linens washed but with small stains and tears. Internet 100baht/hr, which otherwise could pay for a lunch or taxi across the city... We stayed at the Bangkok Palace Hotel on our maiden trip to Bangkok and quite frankly enjoyed our stay there. The best part is the location - we could go shopping even late at night as it is situated right in the heart of the city and very convenient for sight-seeing as well. Even though the hotel is pretty average... More

I have just checked out and couldn't be happier to check into a different place! I had a room for 3 nights, checked in at 1am after a long flight from Australia (so it was 5am for us) and couldn't wait to go to bed. Not so fast... Problems started when I asked about breakfast and was told there is... More

It was the worst hotel and very racist I have ever stayed in BKK. First with the reservation, we had paid for deluxe room, and they gave us normal room! Very disappointed in the hotel's discriminatory policy towards Indians. The management doesn’t know how to treat their guests. Reception staff is very irresponsible, argumentative and very rude. Only good thing... More
