I love the river harbours and the Thai food afterwards! Will continue to do this and maybe stay with you instead of the Four Seasons Hotel because of the historical importance this contributes to Thailand. Make sure don't have too European food in your hotel! Keep the hot chillis and casual dining rooms :) More

As pedantic as one can be in a review The Mandarin Oriental out-shines and out-classes many other hotels in Bangkok with the old fashioned hospitality and service excellence that is to be applauded for the uniformity - from bell-hop to service flloor Butler. Our particular Room on the 12th Floor was well appointed near the lift and boasted grand views... More

MO is truly a wonderful and romantic place to stay in Bangkok. Luxury all the way and great staff and service. Rooms are average size with a very comfy bed. Our room had a spectacular river view - well worth the extra money. Dining on the riverfront terrace is a must. Great food and first class view to the busy... More

This property did not "wow" me like other Mandarin's I have stayed in. There were some minor annoyances like significant construction in certain areas that had not been pointed out to me prior to check-in even though I made my reservation on MO website directly. But this was not the only issue. The hotel room I stayed in was a... More

We had a an absolutely week at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. The service is exceptional, the food amazing. There were so many exceptional staff, who were polite, professional and eager to please and to make our stay perfect. The pick of these were the delightful Ice and Anusorn. There were so many surprising delights; the fresh daily local fruits with... More

We had an absolutely superb stay. The Mandarin Oriental deserves its reputation as one of the best hotels in the world. We live by the ocean on a beautiful island; but would happily trek the 24 + hours just to relax at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok – which says a lot. It's like an Oasis in what can be... More

The bar, the shopping arcade, the riverside restaurant are musts if you are in Thailand. The prices are remakably reasonable given the quality and the tourist demand to eat and drink there. Beautiful surroundings, impeccable service and delicious food. If you eat nowhere else, eat here. More

The Mandarin remains the hotel in Bangkok that others are judged by. Yes, there are newer hotels. Yes there are better business hotels in more convenient locations. But if old-world colonial charm is what you're after, then the Mandarin has it in spades. We stayed in a split-level river wing room with stunning views over the pool and the river... More

It still is one of best hotels in the world. Having stayed here for the umpeenth time, it still offers surprises, luxury and all you could ask for. But, and this a big But... the Wi-Fi costs are outrageous... $7 for an hour's access, $20 for a day and $60 for three days. One could argue that if you can... More

This hotel is just amazing. I have not stayed here but have visited the hotel on a number of occasions. We visit the hotel for the High Tea in the Authors Lounge, which is just amazing, the food is lovely and the environment feels as though you are on safari somewhere. We also visit the bar down by the river... More
