OK, it's not a 5 star hotel and it just scrapes into the 4 stars it says it is, but I'd definitely stay there again. The Good: Price - frequently plenty of amazing deals online through different booking websites Location - Right in ChinaTown, a real character area and a 10 minute stroll to the river. A great place to... More

We were booked in at the Grand China Princess Hotel in Bangkok 27-28 April 2012. Upon arrival, we were informed that they were fully booked and had stuffed up our booking even though we had paid a month prior to our visit. They unfortunately only had a room with one large bed for us to share, and not the twin... More

Loved staying here 19 April for 5 days - perfect location, friendly staff, stayed in a standard room with a balcony - it was a bit musty smelling but otherwise perfect. Would def stay here again location is the best and dinner on the streets at nite with fresh seafood was amazingly cheap! Best breakfast eva!!! More

Stayed 3 nites in an extremely tired room on level 19 that needs a good coat of paint and a little attention to detail. Breakfast was the highlight along with reasonably central location to heart of Chinatown and good quality towels & linen.. Breakfast staff in mornings pleasant but couldnt say much more for the rest to be honest. Was... More

Disappointed, hotel is situated in a great place for sites of Bangkok and China town, top floor restaurant has spectacular views, but the hotel was let down by very bad tempered, rude staff, in all areas, from both restuarants, reception, to bars! No need to say more really would not stay again and would not recommend it to anyone. More

Stayed here at the beggining of my trip in April and then once again at the end. When I returned at end of April, they upgraded us to a deluxe room with a balcony but I actually prefered the superior room that I had the first time around! It felt a lot newer, better aircon and more spacious (no balcony).... More

Stayed here for two nights on the last leg of our journey around thailand. It was my 26th birthday as well and we thought we would treat ourselves. The hotel is plush! You get a real feel for the place as soon as you step in, grand! The staff were very polite in true Thai tradition. The hotel is located... More
