We found the room to have everything we needed, including large fridge, plenty of snacks and beer and drinks available in the room, facility to make hot drinks, a decent bathroom and effective air con. However, the room and the bed were small compared to every other place we stayed in Thailand. The room had a tiny balcony, with 1... More

1st Stay - Pick up from airport and check-in was efficient and breakfast next morning was tasty. 2nd Stay - Pick up from airport and check-in was "complicated". And evening was noisy. To their credit we were not charged for pickup/return to the airport (100 baht each way) due to confusion picking us up at the airport nor charged for... More

Had a scheduled late evening flight on China Eastern airlines from PVG-BKK, scheduled to arrive at 12:55AM... well that went 1.5 hours later than expected (don't even get me STARTED on China Eastern's service, even in Business Class)... but needless to say we were 2 hours late getting into Bangkok. We were able to locate the ones waiting for us... More

choose to sleep in a hotel before traveling back to London in order to be fully relaxed but there was just too much noise! the A/C is very noisy. i've requested a quiet room and I beleive that's what we had! it was on the top floor (5th floor no lift!) but we could hear people singing karaoke in the... It is a lovely, peaceful and quiet place. Quite small. Our room was on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the small pool and the massage hut. It has a wonderful ambience. We welcomed the air/con in the heat and humidity. The room was very small but we managed. The beds aren't very comfortable. They were too hard. It... More

Orchid resort is 10min drive from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport and hotel has well-functioning shuttlebus (just send them beforehand flight info). Orchid was cheap, just about 900baht or 22€. Hotel has a modest restaurant and tiny swimming pool. There are some restaurants and a lively market few hundred meters away. My room was small, no window, but very clean and well-equipped... More

This hotel (it's nothing close to a 'resort') offers excellent value if you plan a stopover between connecting flights at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Don't consider staying here if you plan to visit Bangkok downtown. Pros: - great cleanliness - well equipped, new rooms (refrigerator, tea/coffee facility, DVD player, small balcony) - free airport transfer (pickup was unreliable, though) - good breakfast... More

This is the best choice you can make if you need a place for a short lay-over and flying out of Bangkok. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional, the room was really clean and nicely decorated, with a lot of snacks and a full fridge in case you need a refreshment (meal) during the night! It is really close to... More
