I stayed here at the beginning and end of my trip in Thailand and wouldn't stay anywhere else if I'm ever in Bangkok again! Staff are so friendly, always genuinely interested and happy to help with anything. Such a clean hostel, no dodgey stains on bed sheets! A/C never fails which is a must in Bangkok. For coffee lovers, it's... More

Niras Bankoc is a great hostel with very friendly, helpful and honest personnel, comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms and a cozy entrance lounge kept in English style where you can have lovely decorated coffee (fo a reasonable price), English breakfast or just a nice chat with travelers or the staff. (The entrance area looks a little bit like in an English... More

I've been here for almost 10 days and, having been in other places in both the Sukhumvit area and Khao San road, I can say this is one of the best places to stay in Bangkok, if not the best. the hostel is impeccably clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and he facilities are great. A/C works perfectly,... More

Spotlessly clean and very quiet (by bangkok standards) super efficient airconditioning (which I loved). Big beds, plenty of bathrooms, wifi was good, 7/11 couple of doors down and some vey tasty very cheap eats only 30 seconds away, 10-15 minute walk into khao San road. The main reason for staying here again would be to get away from the crazy... More

The staff here were especially friendly, and we would go out and have drinks together. The hostel itself is located in a quaint, historic house which is really cool and clean. Great place to meet other travellers, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hostel a number of times during my trip in Asia - which reflects what a good hostel it is. My reasons for returning were: - Good dorm rooms. Very european style place and the cleanest sleeping place in BKK. We had a shared dorm room with 3 other people (4 total). The rooms were very spacious and clean and there were many washrooms located throughout the hostel.
