- difficult to find (tuk tuk drivers usually dont know that hotel, and the hotel's logo is not easy to see in the street) - spotlights over the bed cannot be switched off!! so when you sleep you have to chose A/C off or lights on + in the center of the town + quite clean + good deal price/quality..... We chose this hotel because it looked to be close to tourist sites like the Royal Palace. The streets in the area were not suitable to for walking so we ended up using a driver anyway. Breakfast was not good - a buffet of chafing dishes that ran empty and were not refilled. Our room was smaller than we expected.... More

The room was clean and Ok , nothing special but adequate. Its location is pretty good for central Bangkok. We would stay here gain if flights etc... More

Went to Bangkok from 23 Jan to 27 Jan. The hotel sits near a major road so you can imagined if you are assigned to rooms facing the road. Experienced nights of traffic noises disturbing my sleeps. For those light sleepers - stay away. Encountered one unfriendly desk staff, almost bordering of being rude. I dont want to delve on... More

from the moment we stepped into the door we were greeted by friendly staff, who went out of there way to help us. We (two adults and two children 16 and 1 year old) stayed 14 nights over the christmas period. It was our first trip to Bangkok, but I did do alot of homework before we left and yes... More

We (two adults and two 2 children, 11 and 13 years old), stayed two nights at Miramar hotel in January 2012. It was our first (and probably our last) visit in Bangkok, and we really had no firm idea of what it would be like. When looking at a map the place seemed to be very strategically located, and we... Recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. Room modern and very spacious. Breakfast great especially the chicken porridge!! Staff were fantastic especially Nitiyakoru on reception. Location good for sight seeing but a little far out for shopping malls but as taxis are so cheap we found no problem at all. We forgot our Jackets in the room and called... More

at first glance, it looks like they get a lot right aesthetically - modern, minimal. you don't have to look much closer to see the wear. the bathroom could have been cleaned better, and unfortunately kept flooding the room whenever we took a shower. there's no satellite tv, the beds are rock-hard, but there is a free bottled water, enough...
