I've been travelling around Asia this semester, and haven't stayed at a Hostel friendlier or cleaner or more comfortable than The Meeting Place. Being a "younger traveler" I'd guess I'd say most guests of the Hostel are in their 20's but no one showed any animousity towards the few older travelers, and I didn't find it very loud at all.... Cheap and convenient location, but if you need a place to sleep weekend nights are loud!! All night long. Stayed here on and off for 2 weeks. Definitely a younger crowd, traveled with my mother and she was not comfortable there. But the owner is very nice. I really wish it was quiet because it was prefect otherwise.

This place is very good value for your money. The location isn't perfect but the MRT and the trainstation are close, as well as the nightmarket. Stayed here for 3 days! Great place to meet people. Even the location is not really good but it's very close to train station and metro station as well.
