Hotel was about 10mins walk from Taipei Main Station (South Entrance). Between the Station and Hotel, there were many eateries. Hotel was tucked between some old buildings but otherwise pretty quiet. 2 years ago, I stayed in Lio (the main one at Yanping road) before and it was passable for a very affordable price. They had passable breakfast at their downstairs level. Location is OK, 10 mins walking distance to Taipei Main Station & Guo Kuang Bus Station. Room is small with limited space to put luggage. Shower area is the worst, space too small. Breakfast everyday the same (porridge & bread). Air cond is centralised.
