The Shangri-La Village Resort in Pokhara offers good accommodation and some fine views. Our room was spacious and had a nice terrace. The room was modern and well kept as was the bathroom. The gardens are very lovely and the gardeners work tirelessly to maintain them that way. There is a swimming pool, but in April, it was ice cold.... More

The hotel has lovely grounds, large comfortable rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. We booked some day trips from the travel office - all well organised and for a reasonable price. Only, very minor, downside was that the pool was very cold, but overall a great place to stay.

The breakfasts were amazing. The pool fantastic. The staff very friendly. We were traveling with our two daughters ages 5 and 8. Close enough to Lakeside but away form the hustle and bustle. The hotel is a real retreat in Pokhara, not far from the airport. Although you see the planes landing almost over the hotel they don't disturb.
