I stayed in this guest house with my husband last July. The owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. They gave us many complimentary cups of tea and the rooms were very clean. It is quiet and peaceful. It is a little more expensive than other options but it is worth it! More

We stayed two nights and would return. As another reviewer has mentioned the beds are rather hard. The owner put another mattress on the bed and all was fine. Rooms are very good by Nepalese standards. Hot water bottles were also much appreciated. Staff are very good as is the quiet location. It is a three minute walk to the... More

Mum's Garden was an excellent place to stay in Pokhara. It is located in the desirable Lakeside District, a block's walk away from the main street and 5 minutes walk to the Pewa Lake. Very clean, cute and quaint stone cottage complexes with a beautiful little garden and stone patio. The staff and owners are always smiling and provided one... More

Mum's Garden is prettier than it looks in the photos. It is small, and very quiet. The buildings are beautful, and the bathrooms nice. We had plenty of hot water. The garden is lovely. The food was good. The host and his family take very good care of the guests. With no tv, and internet only in the lobby, it... More

Mum’s Garden is a beautiful, tranquil facility two blocks from Fewa Lake in Pokhara. The big stone patio is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon and the staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I found it nearly impossible to sleep because the beds are so hard. I describe them as about as soft as a layer of cardboard... More

Stayed at Mum's Garden for three nights and found the place to be very, very pleasant. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, as was their lunch/dinner menu. The hotel is located in East Lakeside a short walk away from the park at the end of the lake. It has a nice reception with... More

Having been to Pokhara more than a couple of times, we were looking for something different and even better this time. Mum's Garden proved to be the perfect choice. Almost everything was perfect there, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make our vacation special and memorable. I will definitely want to stay there again :) More

Before bringing us at Mum's Garden the taxi driver who picked up us at the airport showed us a few "high rated" hotels: ugly buildings and small gardens is all we saw before finally and luckily getting to Mum's. This hotel is composed of a few stone cottages scattered around a lovely inner garden. The reception and the restaurant too... More

After my husband and I became very sick in Jomson and managed to catch a flight to Pokhara, we were not pleased with our initial accommodation. However the next day we luckily stumbled upon Mum's Garden. We were immediately welcomed with smiles and tea and shown a room (thankfully one was available as it is a popular place). We stayed... Beautifully built by the family who operates it, this simple, spacious and quiet hotel is a conveniently located, quiet well managed place to stay. The family that runs it is friendly and kind; the food is excellent; the rooms are large with high ceilings. The garden patio is a delightful place to eat --the chef is excellent and the menu...
