The stay at the Annapurna Guest House was more than great ! My mother and I went to Kathmandu for a weekend and stayed at this guest house for a couple of days - and this leaves us with wonderful memories. Great food, good location and very helpful staffs together made it a time to remember. The cabbie become a... More

7 of us stayed at AGH for 3 days and tour around Pokhara and Lumbini then back to AGH for another 2 days. Wonderful arrangement and the price is relatively reasonable for my family vaction to the holistic land. Clean rooms, friendly workers, homely feelings we had during all hours. Cheers! More

The location is in the best highlight of the hotel. The rooms are decent but the carpets look old. The hotel staffs are very courteous and helpful. The restaurants have good food. The casino is pretty good. Overall it's a good hotel compared to the price. More

I stayed here three times in September/October 2011 with my brother and loved this place. It's on a quieter street in Thamel which I liked, but only a few minutes to the centre. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hot water works. The people were really friendly and helped us out with plenty of advice and ideas of... More

We stayed here on two seperate occasions in November and found both times very comfortable. The first time around we were picked up from Kathmandu Airport by a driver sent from the guesthouse which was for free, although a tip is appreciated. Manjit at the guesthouse was very happy to organise us some everest flights through Buddha Air, and the... More

This was my second choice before the visit. Though I had booked online, had to cancel due to Air India strike. However, when I went to this Guest house on the day of my visit, we were greeted courteously and offered rooms, but without the discount for online booking. That was OK. However, the room did not telephone (not even... More

From August - December 2010 I was blessed with the opportunity to live and explore Nepal. During the course of my four month stay anytime I was in Kathmandu I had the privilege of staying at Annapurna Guest House. Majit Thapa (owner) and his family are fantastic hosts in every way! The rooms are everything a trekker or sightseer on... More

My partner and I stayed at Manjit's guest house during the Summer, 2010. During our stay Manjit and his crew helped us organize our trips to Pokhara, Everest Base Camp and Kathmandu Valley and provided all the useful info that we needed to know which we really appreciated. Not only did he help us organize our vacation in Nepal but... More

First the high points... because there are only a few. The staff was nice. The airport pick-up was available as promised. The food was decent. Ok, that is it. Now for the rest. The room was "clean-ish". Unfortunately, all the little roaches liked it too. They were everywhere. The bathroom did not have hot water, although it had been promised.... More
