Great Hotel, which is centrally located. The renovated rooms are excellent with all the controls at your fingertips. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff carryout Arti at the mini temple dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, in the lobby, every evening. Great to see. Need to mention the front office/reception staff. Always a smile and very helpful, nothing is too... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night. Beds were awesomely comfortable. Pillows were like clouds. Shower was the hottest experienced in Nepal. 1st room had no hot water. Room had twin beds. Both rooms were pretty small, and not really what id call luxurious. 180 bucks for something id pay maybe 80 max for in australia. Wayyyy expensive... More

It was a short usiness trip to Kathmandu for a couple of days. The stay has been a memorable one for me. The food, ambience, property maintenance, location all outstanding. The only drawback is the Service with lax staff. You need to call the hotel staff multiple times before one comes for assistance which is apalling in such a big... More

The rooms are good. But then everything else is way too expensive for my liking. Better to have food from outside as there are lot of restaurants nearby. What ever you do - do-not-make-international phone calls from there. Go out side to a phone booth and make the call - the cost will be only 1/100 of what you have... More

I stayed here for 4 nights and my experience at the hotel was amazing. The staffs were so friendly and cooperative. About the location: Very central, next to nice restaurants and shopping facilities. Great breakfast buffet and spacious. Courteous staff and welcoming environment. . Loved the Indian restaurant in the hotel (Ghar-e-Kabob) where i had my birthday dinner with friends.... More

I stayed at Hotel de l’Annapurna in February 2013. This hotel was a last minute change by our tour operator. We stayed two nights at the start of our trip and two on our return. Before reviewing I think it is important to note that this hotel is in Kathmandu, which is an extremely poor and unorganised place, and it... More

Nothing to applaud or whine about but the rates are way beyond VFM. For similar tarrif one can stay at yak... More

We stayed 4 nights in a room on the top (of 3) story of the Annapurna. We changed rooms after the first night as in the initial room 2024, the air-conditioning was deficient making the room far too cold. Better than too hot but still... Also it was somewhat grubby and the view was mainly of a wall of the... More

Hotel Annapurna is perfectly located on Durbar Marg, Kathmandu's "upscale" shopping street, as upscale as one can get in Nepal. It is quiet yet within walking distance of shops, restaurants and about a 10 minute walk from the Thamel tourist area. The hotel is very tranquil and safe. Ask for an odd number room if you can, that way you... More

The best part of this hotel is its location. A large spacious hotel in an otherwise busy congested locality. It is very close to Durbar museum and American club. The building has started ageing but is still maintained very well. Rooms are well furnished, however there is some issue with the water supplied in bathrooms. The complimentary breakfast is another... More

Established in 1965 and named after Annapurna, the Goddess of Abundance, the Hotel provides the finest personal service and facilities in Nepal’s fabled emerald valley, and its cultural, political and commercial capital. The Hotel has a total of 151 recently renovated Deluxe and Heritage guestrooms, including 5 suites, equipped with modern amenities such as the latest flat screen TV, bedside lighting & climate control unit, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar and electronic safe. The atmosphere within the 5-acre property is warm and relaxed, the ambiance embracing the unique and friendly essence of Nepali culture and traditions. The Hotel is an architectural marvel, cleverly combining the local pagoda-style with contemporary flair. The Hotel is also famous for its popular eating outlets. The Coffee Shop is the all day, every day place for favourite eats and drinks and surprising new delights. The capital’s most exotic Chinese restaurant, the Arniko Room, has established itself as one of the culinary wonders of modern Nepal. In keeping with modern times, the Hotel is entirely Wi-Fi enabled. With extensive banquet and conferencing facilities, beautifully landscaped garden, one of the largest hotel swimming pools, well-equipped gym, business centre and the most prestigious shopping arcade, our property is also within easy reach of religious, historical, cultural, architectural and shopping destinations, as well as Government offices, diplomatic missions and airline offices.
