I have to say the strongly positive reviews on TA influenced my decision to stay here. But while Peak Point offers decent value for the asking price, I can't really agree with the 4.5 star rating. If you're expecting a palace, you should probably manage your expectations - this is Nepal after all. Thankfully I didn't experience any of the... More

We stayed at Peak Point for an extended period before and after our trek and were treated well by the staff. Rooms offer all you really need and the location is in a quiet area of Thamel yet only a few minutes walk to the stores and restaurants.

This hotel make me feel like home. All staff is so kind and friendly. The room I stay is so clean and light and the location of this hotel is pretty close to the center of city,Thamel. All facilities are available all time except electronic devices in the time of power off every day but another can use all the... More

It was a perfect stay. Staff helped us to organize our trekking, you can have all informations you want. Really good team staff, complete and yummy breakfast and the rooms are really good and quiet ! You can also have a sight seeing with a private car for a good value for money.

After a long journey, arriving at Peak Point Hotel was a great place to end up. We were served tea, along with friendly welcomes. The rooms were clean, spacious, and worth the price. My room had a balcony and a great view of the street! Because the hotel is not directly on the main strip, it was quieter than the... More

We pre paid for our room through Agoda as the last thing we wanted was to arrive exhausted at midnight to no booked room - and despite pre booking that is exactly what happened. After a lot of standing around and waiting we were eventually packed of to the hotel next door as given a twin room with the most... More

The hotel is adequate for the price, pretty well located and relatively clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, an they have an in-house service taking care of bus tickets, tours etc. This is all good, but we booked through Agoda (paying in advance at the time of making the booking), to turn up and find the hotel full!... Peak Point Hotel, located in Thamel, was close to all the action yet set far enough away to give guests a feeling of tranquility. The rooms were clean, showers warm, air conditioning if needed, bottled water on hand and a television (that I never turned on). The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Tea... The hotel is located just out of the Thamel. The location is convenient. The room is nice. The breakfast is basic but nice. I love the Masala tea most. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the price is reasonable. The base is not so good. The sprinkler isn't fixed on the wall.
