I had no experience about Nepal. I was known Lai Lai Hotel by one of my friend who had already stayed that Hotel. First time, I went to Kathmandu. I stayed 10 days at Lai Lai Hotel. I was good treated by staffs of Hotel. I felt like like at home. Managers, staffs, Management, service ,room,breakfast of Hotel is good.

The location of Lai Lai is excellent, it's walking distance from Tamel the hard core tourist streets, but far enough to be quiet, tranquil and cean. Recommended budget hotel. Not a high quality hotel (bathrooms are slightly poor and rooms are old), but surely a great price-quality ratio. Good location (Thamel area), staff friendly, wi-fi or computer on disposal.

I was in Kathmandu in september 2012, my room was dirty, the pillow smelled so much that kept me awake all night long. My friend found a big beatle in her bed...the hotel doesn't have free wi-fi. The hotel has a good position but you can find better hotels near there
