Travellers inn, even though we were only there for one night, was a great place to stay. Rooms are clean and the hotel in the heart of thamel. Only place that sisnt charge for vat and taxes or wifi. Only slight issue is that the rooms were very cold at the time of year we went. Basu Panday the manager... More

While on the surface this looks to be a nice place to stay, I ran into a bunch of problems, all due to bad management: - Out of a 10 day stay, I only had hot water 3 days. I spoke to the desk, but they kept forgetting to run the pump, or whatever. - It took at least a... More

I recently stayed at Travellers Inn for a week or so, and it was really comfortable. Fresh sheets, endless hot showers, big towels, comfortable bed.. My room even had a balcony so I could look out onto the street! It is down a well lit and safe but quiet street with almost no vehicular traffic (just people walking), and also... More

Stayed in this inn for about four nights in total Location is good. Stuff friendly. There are 9 rooms and you should ask for the big one's with the balcony. More

The location is nice as the hotel is in a quite street - however there are lots of hotels in the same street. But the reservation can turn into a challenge. I planned to stay two times at this hotel ( beginning and end of my trip) but i only get the confirmed room at the beginning of my trip.... More

Lovely clean hotel with private faciliites, great location, friendly staff and a great price. Will be coming back here to stay again. I only marked it down on sleep quality due to the dogs barking at night but let's be honest its a problem anywhere in kathmandu! The bed and line however was the most comfy we had in our... More

The hotel is relatively close to the Katmandu Bank. It`s off the next side street. Hotel Florid is on the same street for those who have the Lonely Planet. Our room had a double bed and a single bed with a tub in the bathroom. The tub area leaked as did the sink so the tub didn`t really keep the... More

This is an excellent good value hotel. Rooms are clean, airy and comfortable. Bathroom is very good and location is great for Thamel. Staff are tremendous and the owner Basu is a great bloke. He has information on everything that you will need and he organised our trip down to Chitwan and Pokhara. All arrangements went to plan and we... More

We chose this hotel on the basis of the Trip Advisor reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. We had a modest sized triple room (1 double, 1 single) with attached bathroom for us and our 3yr old boy with a tiny balcony outside just big enough to put a chair out and sit and watch the street below. The room was... More
