Great location, recent renovation is obvious. Some continuing but should be done soon. Current renovation doesn't affect guest rooms. Door locking is odd. You have to hold the door shut in order to lock it on the way out. Attentive service in the restaurant. More

You can walk to everything in downtown. We had a corner room with great light. Rooms are all remodeled. Bath was great with separate tub and shower and enclosed toilet area. Can watch big screen TV from tub. Great lighting for reading. Noise from dogs on street cannot be avoided. Very high quality linens and bedding. More

The three days in Thimphu were amongst the best in my life. And when there is such a bias in an opinion, small shortcomings in hotels and restaurants dont take away anything from the overall expereince. Druk is right in the middle of the town. My just completed a six day stay at the Druk. I was very pleased with the staff and the facility. I had a corner room that looked out over the National Stadium. The king sized bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. My one quibble was with the computer desk. I would have preferred more surface area to work on.... More

Druk Hotel is in the centre and heart of the Thimphu city, opposite side of the Clock Tower. The city centre, shopping places, food, restaurants, internet cafe at the door step of Druk.
