The hotel in itself isn't bad, and the staff was very polite, and helpful. The main reason why I won't be staying in this hotel if ever is because of the almost inedible food. For dinner we had what passed as Indian cuisine (I am big fan of Indian food, and I've travelled in India myself) but it was just... More

We stayed for 2 nights having spent 8 days travelling in Bhutan. The room was a good size, was dual aspect overlooking the road and a building site and was a little noisy. The bathroom was fine. The restaurant really let this hotel down, both breakfasts and dinners were of a very poor standard compared with all our other accommodation... More

I will really have to be very picky to say bad things about our stay at Migmar . I will try to be short and informative - 1. Service and personal attention - we wanted to have some dry starters with the local (Bhutanese) beer - and asked the chef who said there was nothing on the dinner buffet but... More

Hotel Migmar is ideally located bit away from the town and near to first Bhutan shopping mall. It has spacious rooms, restaurant and parking. Our clients love to stay in this place. More

This was among the better hotels we stayed at during a 17-day stay. Service was good, room was clean, shower worked. Food, like everywhere along Bhutan package tourist trail, was so- so--but the dining room was a little better than most. The property is on the outskirts of town, so it's not convenient for walking around. More

Our tour group stayed 3 nights at the MIgmar, and it was an enjoyable experience. We were welcomed with tea/coffee as soon as we entered the lobby (which had 2 computers with free internet access). The room was large, and the bathroom had a tub, bathrobes, and radiant heated floor. Wow! We were upgraded on our last night to an... More

Stayed at the hotel twice for a total of three days while in Bhutan. Rooms were nice. Clean good size, staff very helpful. Located a bit out of center of city. Fromt of hotel faces road so request a room toward s the back. All in all a nice pleasant place More

I stayed here 3 nights, and was very pleased with everything about the hotel. It's location, away from downtown Thimphu, is quiet. The room was very large, very comfortable, and the bathrooms up to date. The beds were most comfortable. The staff was most gracious, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Internet service was very... More
