Have stayed in hotel for over a 100 days in a 7 month period, have witnessed hotel and restaurant staff been trained to a high standard. Rooms are large though some can be dark, architecture is stunning, on site is butcher, baker/coffee shop, wine shop (can take to restaurant),bank, local carvings and restaurant. Unlike most of the large hotels its... More

small hotel with very clean, nicely appointed rooms in a well planned setting. Very convenient location but lots of traffic, so even at night the place cannot really be considered very quiet. Restaurant, patisserie, butchery and more within the same compound. Good service with the exception of a cleaner who insisted one morning on making the room while we were... More

The room was great and very clean and the hotel setting is a nice escape from the downtown traffic and chaos. However- it's right next door to a banquet hall of sorts, and they seem to have weddings or some sort of celebration there, every night that I was there! It's extremely loud and the hotel room walls are very... More

The rooms are large, very nicely furnished and come with complimentary drinks in a mini fridge. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rates are good for what you get. Breakfast was served with many options to order, such as pancakes, scrambled eggs etc. Internet and power supply were very good compared to other hotels, I have stayed in Kampala. Location... More

I stayed here in July 2011 for 5 days for a business trip and loved it. The airport shuttle was there on time when I arrived. I stayed in a Jr. Suite and enjoyed the quiet, private oasis from the loud city. The room was large and the free, stocked mini-fridge was a nice touch. They even offered champagne on... More

The visit started with a very pleasant on time airport collection - important when tackling the drive to Kampala! Check in was done promptly and efficiently with some nice touches like cool drinks and towels. I had an upstairs room which was really of a good quality. The rooms are large, well decorated and have great beds with mosquito nets.... More

The restaurant has a very good menu with very good meat. Tere is a very good wine shop with a choice of french, spanish, south africans white and red wine. The pastry is like in France. stayed 4 weeks there and at my next trip in Sept I will stay the same. More

Le Petit Village is the perfect place to rest and recharge amongst the hussle and bussle of Kampala. This luxury hotel is a breath of fresh air in this intense & overwhelming city. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful, we arrived late after a long journey, they picked us up from the airport and they made us... More
