The hotel met all my basic needs. I had travelled to Rwanda to see the Mountain Gorillas and to visit a small child I was sponsoring through a UK charity. Throughout my stay in the hotel, the staff were extremely courteous, especially the gentleman who delivered my room service. The location was picturesque and relaxing. I look forward to a... More

Styled for an overnight business visit with colleagues in late Jan 2012. Shame that I couldn't enjoy a longer stay. A lovely hotel, with a very interesting historical background. View from the restaurant at breakfast - over the hills - very impressive. Very modern & comfortable room. Free wi-fi, but some minor drop-out issues. More

Very nice hotel! The restaurant is marvellous!! Great food by the pool as well. Service is slow but it is like this all over the country. Staff are kind and very helpful. I wish they could improve the internet speed which is very slow, even in the countryside, in a smaller hotel we got better internet. Internet is free in... More

There are better hotels in Kigali but you have to stay here. The rooms are pretty good the swimming pool (which provided the only water they had during the genocide, it is impossible not to think of it) is beautiful and the food and service are also great. It is also a good location from where to go and explore... More

This is a hotel that you would love to come back. First is the location: standing high in one of the marvelous hills of Kigali you can easily enjoy the view. It is 30 minutes away from the airport and it has easy access to everywhere in Kigali. By the way I must admit that Kigali itself in probably the... More

We wanted to stay here because of it's significance and importance to Rwanda, and the hotel was very good. It is not a "5 star" hotel when you compare it to something in Europe, or the US- but it is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff. The restaurant has an amazing view over Kigali, and the food was... More

The location of Mille Collines is perfect for business - as it is steps away from banks, commercial and government buildings, and for leisure - the views from the restaurant ight well be "the best in Kigali". The service is warm, though slow by international standards... it feels more like a well run club. For me they get the important... More

Stayed at the Milles Collines and in comparison to other hotels in the area it was very clean, had all the amenities necessary. Short distance to shopping and bars, very central. Food good but not 4*. Variety of restaurants and bars. Brunch on Sundays is great, $20 for a real all you can eat comfort food brunch, set with waffles... More

This was our first hotel in Rwanda and was a great place to start. Cool atmosphere by the thatched pool bar, clean basic room, great views over Kigali...the atmosphere here is more interesting than the Serena although without the good food options. However, you can walk from here to some of Kigali's best restaurants. More
