This Hotel really is special. We had an overnight in the Polana Serena Hotel and just want to return for a longer stay. The suite was large and very well stocked. Expresso coffee was a very nice touch. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel maintains old-school luxury,with the brocaded upholstery to the oversized vases and oppulent furniture. The hotel is generally good... It is very clean and the rooms are super comfortable. The staff are friendly however the quality of service is not so great for a 5-star hotel.

I stayed here for one week on business on my own and it was lovely. Food standard good, service all round good, no language barrier, spotless, faultless and just charming. This is a lovely hotel but make sure you ask for your room to be in the main hotel otherwise you'll end up in the dark dingey small rooms beyond the pool and underground!
