The Tamboho is a great hotel, from the warm friendly welcome to the comfy rooms this hotel is just great. The waterfront is a bit of a weird concept, even if you can see why it has been done. But this is the only thing that sits slightly off about this wonderful hotel. Loved staying here, will definitely return.

The simple Malagasy style is appealing as one steps into the quaint lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful; however, English is not widely spoken. I have stayed here twice and both times have been a pleasure. Shops across the street offer good shopping and food if hotel food is not your choice. Rooms are modern and clean and prices are very reasonable.
