absolutely absurd, even for Africa with their filthy carpets, intermittent wi fi connection and nasy Southeast Asia front desk staff. Hotel seems to be empty, seems I was one of the only people gullible enough to pay these rates. Never again.

Al-Waddan suffers from it's location. Overshadowed by an un-finished monolith Intercontinental hotel and alongside the seafront roads it almost seems out of place.
