Just returned to UK after week in Lesotho. Stayed at the Lancer's for 2 nights in the new rondeveld style room. Very comfortable and great service. Evening meal was good and breakfast was satisfying. Thanks again for a great stay.

Clean, efficient inn in the heart of Maseru. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Staff competent if a bit slow to respond sometimes, but they will respond. Easy walking distance to shopping and many government offices. Nice breakfast (eggs to order), cereal, etc. Nice stay, I would stay here again.

Currently staying in this hotel in Maseru. Facilities and rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly particularly the Front Office staff led by either Agnes or Belina; both staff will try to help you as much as possible. I stayed at the Lancer's for two weeks in October/November. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. There was plenty of hot water and clean rooms. They changed my room swiftly when i did not like it. The rondavels were lovely albeit cold. My only problem was that the internet access was not very good in the hotel... More

This is a very nice inn in Maseru. If you want to stay in a place that has a larger menu of hotel services, then there are other options. I prefer Lancer's Inn for its personable quality, cozy resturant, and great staff that helped me out on several occasions. Being in town, you can walk to several stores & resturants... More

The over priced Sun hotels led me to look at guesthouses in Maseru. This guesthouse is no frills but not at all unpleasant. The rooms are adequately appointed, but there are no amenities in the rooms. The restaurant on site is handy and the food is pretty ok. The central location is also a plus.
