Stayed here on a work related stay in 2005. Really nice staff, clean large rooms. Good atmosphere - especially in late afternoon, early evening when local people came for talks, meetings etc. When I had a question the people at the desk always were kind and eager to help.

In a quiet area, yet walking distance to the main city area. I feel very sad that I never got to thank the staff making me feel so welcome and they were so friendly. But having stayed here for three weeks, I am defiantly going to be staying here the next time I head off to Eritrea.

PRO. The hotel is simple and clean in a quiet neighborhood close to the centre and a good restaurant (Blue Bird: dinner (local, Italian, pizza) about 250NKF, beer 14NKF). Ample sized rooms with en-suite bathroom - clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast and good in hotel menu for snacks or meals - very nice coffee. Service is very good and staff are all friendly. I stayed in the Hotel longer than expected and felt really comfortable. The Staff are helpful, and friendly. Delicious coffee. Nice garden not far away from the city centre. All facilities that you need.
