This is an excellent place to stay in Bujumbura. The position is beautiful and relatively close to town. The owners and staff extremely helpful and considerate and the (greek) food excellent.

Besides excellent location, the hospitality and specific care for customers is unforgettable. I wish we could visit again the Hotel Vaya. We liked the cuisine, a mixture of the Mediterranean and local cuisine, professional service.

My wife and I visited Chez Vaya as wel as other hotels in Bujumbura. Despite the price anounced by Trip Advisor, we were quotede 85 Euros by the owner. The hotel is far from the city center. The Taxi charged us 6 to go back to downtown. We did not stay a this hotel. At 85 Euros is overpriced.
